I've always been on the hunt for the perfect backpack for travel sketching that easily accommodates the length of my easel tripod and stool along with the size of watercolour pad/block that I like to travel with. It's a struggle to find the perfect bag so I decided to manufactured one!
The outer long pocket is designed to acomodate most easel tripods, and or a stool. Backpack straps and side handles allow you to carry it like a portfolio style bag or on your back.

The Sketch Bag. Perfect for for urban sketchers and plein air painters
The bag is designed to fit most airline carryon size requirements. It is 50cm (H) x 38cm (W) x 20cm (deep - when fully filled, including the main bag section and front pockets). See photos for more information on sizes.
The long front pocket is designed to hold an easel tripod and/or stool. Of my equipment, it holds my travel tripod and either the Walkstool or Helinox chair #1. It is 43cm (H) x 19cm (W) x 8cm (D).
Inside the bag there is a lining on the front wall with a half height pocket and a small zipper pocket.
On the back wall there is a luggage strap and buckle to hold the paper and flat items against the back side.
The bag has backpack straps as well as a double handle on the side.
With a lightweight design the bag weighs under 850gms.
