Floral & Still Life Watercolour Retreat with Cheryl Bruce
This all inclusive art retreat gives us a great opportunity to explore this small town from our home base of the 100 year old fully renovated property in the small town of Winnaleah. We will paint in the studio space, as well as some sketching onsite and adventures to places like the Bay of Fires, Ringarooma River, Mirror Lake or Little Blue Lake.
Led by accomplished artist Cheryl Bruce, this small group workshop invites participants to delve into a focus on florals and still life as our subject matter for the 2027 workshop. We will cover a really wide range of watercolour techniques and styles of painting.
All levels of experience are welcome to join this workshop. Whether you're a seasoned watercolourist or newer to the medium, this workshop offers a nurturing environment to hone your craft. Join us for a week of inspiration, creativity, and camaraderie.
What is included -

6 nights accommodation at The Enclave.

Transfers to and from Launceston airport on 17th January 3.30/4pm and return to the airport on the 23th January by 11am. If you fly in or out on different days in order to have time in Launceston, there will be a pickup point in the centre of Launceston.

Stunning 2 course welcome dinner and welcome drinks by the fire.

Breakfasts, lunches and all dinners except one dinner and one lunch out. Tea/coffee and snacks.

Transport to painting and sightseeing excursions to some epic locations.

Painting tuition and guidance from Cheryl Bruce in a small group setting, over the 5 days. We will paint in the studio space at the Enclave, onsite at some amazing locations, and also in the gardens of the Enclave. 2027's workshop is primarily studio based with a few sketches from life onsite.

All rooms have an ensuite, or detached private bathroom across the hall. Rooms are allocated in order of bookings.

Airfares to and from Tasmania (please fly or drive into Launceston).

Travel insurance - we strongly recommend travel insurance to cover yourself for cancellation, medical and hospital expenses, and other unforeseen expenses.

Pricing
Option 1 - Single Room - $2995
Option 2 - Twin Share Room - $2450 per person
Option 3 - Twin Share Room - $1950 per person non painting partner/friend
To book – a deposit of $500 is required (via direct deposit) along with the booking form. If the balance due date for the workshop has passed, the full payment is required at the time of booking, or please discuss a payment plan with us. The balance is due by 95 days prior to the workshop commencement - 10 October 2026. All costs are listed as AUD. T&C's and cancellation policy is listed on the booking form.
